ELKHART - Alexander "Al" Pappas, 80, died at 2:42 p.m. Saturday, May 12, in Elkhart General Hospital. Survivors include a daughter, Tina Oblinger of Elkhart; a son, Larry Papas of Elkhart; sisters, Mary Stover of Edwardsburg and Phebe Thompson of Elkhart; brothers, Jack Pappas of Elkhart and Ronald (Carol) Pappas of Dowagiac; and grandchildren, Tyler Pappas, Tami Pappas, Eric Oblinger and Evan "Opie" Pappas, all of Elkhart. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.
