Blanche Przybylski
October 23, 1929 - June 20, 2022
Blanche Sniadecki, 92 years old, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022. Blanche was born October 23, 1929, in South Bend to the late Joseph and Antoinette (Gajewski) Przybylski. On June 7, 1947 she married the love of her life, Frank Sniadecki, who preceded her in death on December 14, 2003. Blanche was also preceded in death by her son, Frank Sniadecki, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Charlotte Sniadecki; son-in-law, Kenneth Powell Sr.; grandson, Daniel McDonnell; three sisters, Frances Gorka, Alice Mate and Harriet Faltynski; and six brothers, Louis, Walter, Frank, Joseph Jr., John and Stanley Przybylski. Left to cherish the memory of Blanche are her children, Carol (Robert) McDonnell of St. Petersburg, FL, Thomas (Jeanie) Sniadecki of South Bend, IN, and Judy Powell of Elkhart; grandchildren, Robert McDonnell Jr. of Delaware, Colleen (Dustin) Sager of Niles, Laura (Jameson) Brown of North Liberty, Kenneth (Marilee) Powell, Jr. of Elkhart, Joseph (Tara) Powell of Wakarusa, Anthony (Brandi) Powell of Mishawaka, Sandy (Michael) Connors of Granger, Timothy (Lauren) Powell of Russiaville, IN, and Cindy Newton of Bessemer, MI; step-grandchildren, Linda (James) Roe of Mishawaka, and John (Megan) Murmane of Lakeville; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Blanche belonged to St. Adalbert’s Harvest House, St. Casimir’s Harvest House, St. Hedwig Golden Cluster, and St. Stanislaus Harvest House and Parish. She loved sewing, baking - especially her famous apple pies, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be truly missed. The family would like to thank the Center for Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion. Visitation for Blanche will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, June 25, 2022 at St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr, 415 N Brookfield St, South Bend, IN 46628. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made out to Center for Hospice found at cfhcare.org.
