SOUTH BEND - Donna M. Przybysz, 84, of Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, in Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, Michigan. Donna was born on August 13, 1931, in South Bend, to James and Gladys (Morris) Ellis. She had lived in Dowagiac for the last 22 years. She had also lived in South Bend and Granger. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and a fantastic cook. On October 13, 1952, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, South Bend, Indiana, she married John T. Przybysz, who preceded her in death on December 7, 2014. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Marge Scott, Mary Nye, and Dorothy Hagerty; and by one brother, James Ellis. Donna is survived by her two daughters, Victoria (Dan) Cunningham and Christi Pettit, both of Dowagiac, Michigan; her son, Tim (Linda) Przybysz of Richmond, Indiana; five grandchildren, Amy (Brandon) Rasler, Jennifer (Nicholas) Finley, John (Jessica Delucio) Przybysz, Tyler (Jaclyn) Przybysz, and Madeline Pettit; eight great-grandchildren, Alex, Andrew, Audrey, Reese, Sadie, Annabel, Zachary, Naelyn, and “one on the way”; and her sister, Betty (Orie) Swick of Mishawaka, Indiana. Funeral services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Donna was a member of The Christ Child Society. She enjoyed living at Magician Lake.
