ELKHART - Thelma J. "Nola" Lesher, 72, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday, April 14, in Elkhart General Hospital. Thelma was born on June 12, 1935, in Hammond, IN, to the late Frank and Hilda (Woodward) Warren. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, John A. Nadolny, who she married on Jan. 28, 1956, in South Bend. He passed away on March 20, 1979. She married her second husband on June 15, 1991, in Elkhart, and he preceded her in death on June 18, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Flora Wenninger. She worked at Copy Express in printing sales. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, was a member of Elks #425, enjoyed golf, basket weaving, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She is survived by a son, Andrew J. (April) Nadolny of Elkhart; daughters, Karen E. (Larry) Chojnacki of Elkhart and Jennifer A. (Steve) Sirovica of Granger; a sister, Myrlene Mookerjee of Milwaukee, WI; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, with Father Bill Sullivan of St. Thomas the Apostle Church officiating. Burial will be at St. Vincent Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m., and one hour before services in the church on Thursday.
