LEBANON, IN - Lois Ann Plawecki, 81, passed away at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana on March 16, 2018. She was born on March 18, 1936, in East Chicago, Indiana, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Duhon) Kosinski. Before getting married to Dick Plawecki on October 7, 1961, she was a secretary at Inland Steel. The couple had three children: Jeff, Karen and Laura. The family's first house was in Merrillville, Indiana before they moved to South Bend, Indiana in 1972. Lois then began working as a secretary at the Notre Dame Law School in 1975 where she remained until her retirement in 2004. Her friends at Notre Dame were very important to her as well. Lois enjoyed drawing, reading, and crossword puzzles. She was always a great advocate for her kids and supported their activities such as Cub Scouts, Brownies, baseball, etc. In addition to her three children, she is survived by four grandchildren. Private family services will be held at Hoosier Village in Indianapolis on Friday, March 23, 2018. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana has been entrusted with her care. Online condolences: www.myersmortuary.com.
