Frances (June) Roe Bonczynski, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her daughter’s home. Frances (June) was born January 21, 1932 in Bremen to the late Vendetta and Iris (Kuntz) Nick.

On August 1, 2001 in South Bend June married George Bonczynski, he preceded her in death on July 11, 2021. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen (Tina) Dougherty; brothers, John, Jack, Robert, Arnold Nick; sister, Mary Ellen Patterson; her

1st husband, Vern Ploughe;
2nd husband Raymond Roe;
3rd husband George Bonczynski.

Left to cherish the memory of June are her children, Sharon Zalas (Charles), Debbie (John) Blatz, Connie Kourlas (Mike), David Ploughe; grandchildren, Brandon Zalas, Cory (Amanda) Zalas, Ryan (John) Fisher, Damon (Jamie) Blatz, Anthony Blatz, Krystal Kourlas, David (Amy) Ploughe, Amy Lyczynski, Anthony Rock, Travis Ploughe, Bryan Ploughe, Brooke Dickson; 22 great-granchildren; and sisters, Martha (Jay) Stutzman and Betty Enoch. June loved all her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed nature, going to the lake cottage on gravel lake, fishing, and gardening. June never missed a Notre Dame football game on T.V; her favorite show was Gunsmoke! Most and foremost June was very devoted Christian. Visitation for June will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the Funeral Home Chapel with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
