South Bent Tribune 3/8/1994SOUTH BEND - Sarah C. ''Sadie'' Zielinski, 95, of Ford Street, died at 5:30 a.m. today in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. Mrs. Zielinski was born Nov. 6, 1898, in Portland, Maine, and lived in South Bend since 1920, coming from Portland. On June 22, 1920, in Portland, as Sarah C. Coyne, she married John S. Zielinski Sr. He died April 10, 1973. She is survived by three sons, Harold, Edward, and Thomas, all of South Bend; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Coyne of Portland, Catherine Peterson of Rumford, Maine, and Anne Sullivan of Marblehead, Mass.; and two brothers, Edward Coyne and Martin Coyne, both of Portland. A son, John S. Jr., died Oct. 31, 1992. She was a member of Senior Citizens Club of St. Casimir's Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a combined rosary will be said at 3 p.m. by the parish and Senior Citizens Club.
