Richard Nelson, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26th at Sterling House where he received wonderful care. He was born Jan 14th, 1927 in South Bend, IN. Survivors include his wife Margaret (Sulok); daughter, Lisa (Eric) Karaman of Niles, MI; son, Karl (Mollie) Nelson of Granger; and eight grandchildren, Jeffrey, Scott and Mark Nelson, Kyle and Connor Nelson, Jason (Ashley), Ross and Elise Karaman. Dick was preceded in death by a son, Brian Nelson and a brother, James Nelson. Mr. Nelson was the C.E.O and owner of Nelson Fuel, Inc., South Bend.
