MISHAWAKA - Albert C. Raes, 77, of South Roosevelt Street, died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday in his home after an illness. Mr. Raes retired in 1972 from Uniroyal Plastics Co. after 38 years of service. He was born Sept. 16, 1916, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident.

In 1946, in Mishawaka, he married Mary J. Lucas. She died Jan. 30, 1982. He is survived by a sister, Elsie Raes of Mishawaka; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of BK Club and BK Footballers.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Hahn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
