Gmina Mieleszyn is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Gniezno County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Mieleszyn, which lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-west of Gniezno and 50 km (31 mi) north-east of the regional capital Poznan'.
Mieleszyn is the seat of the municipality - a village of over 850 people. The first historical mention dates from 1283 Mieleszyn the first settlement belonged to the church property, in later centuries it belonged to the nobility. Since the nineteenth century, the village belonged to the family Kalkstein©dw. Then it was the manor - the palace which included, among others oil mill, a brickyard, a smithy, a flock, a dairy and a distillery.
