SOUTH BEND - George J. Manuszak, 86, of Goleta, CA, passed away Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Violet, and daughter, Laura of Goleta, CA. The family would like to thank all the staff at Mission Terrace for their help and care in George's last days. There will be no services held at his request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Santa Barbara Visiting and Hospice Care, 222 E. Cannon Perdido St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101. Arrangements by Welch-Ryce-Haider Funeral Chapels, Santa Barbara/ Goleta, CA.

SOUTH BEND - George J. Manuszak, 86 of Goleta, California. Passed away October 21, 2009. George was born October 11, 1923 and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He was a veteran of WWII-US Army Medical Corp., seeing action in the European Theatre, including Normandy, Northern France, Battle of the Bulge, Bastogne, Rhineland and the Ardennes. George was a school teacher in California before changing careers to Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. He is survived by his wife Violet of 56 years, and daughter Laura of Goleta, California. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the staff at Mission Terrace for their help and care in George's last days.
