Feb. 11, 1912 - Nov. 12, 2009 FORT WAYNE - Louise F. Wierzbinski Szabo, 97, passed away on Thursday at 12:22 am in St. Anne Home and Retirement Community. Louise is survived by her sons, Jerome (Doris) Wierzbinski and Ralph (Joyce) Wiley; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Wierzbinski; and by three sisters, Stephanie Kuzmicz, Mary Wilson and Phyllis Bognar. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 am Monday, in St. Hedwig's Catholic Church where a services will be celebrated at 11 am. St. Joseph Funeral Home-Mayflower Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. For those who are unable to attend the Funeral Liturgy, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net

FORT WAYNE - Louise F. Wierzbinski Szabo, 97, passed away on Thursday, 12, 2009, at 12:22 a.m. in the St. Anne Home and Retirement Community. Louise was born on February 11, 1912, in South Bend, to the late John and Elizabeth Ramenda. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Wierzbinski, on November 8, 1933, her second husband, Walter H. Wierzbinski, on July 7, 1956, and by her third husband, Peter Szabo, on October 7, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Helen Sokol and Pauline Casper; and by her three brothers, Stanley Ramenda, Walter Ramenda and Frank Ramenda; and by her two sons, Ervin J. Wierzbinski and James Wierzbinski. Louise is survived by her two sons, Jerome (Doris) Wierzbinski of Fort Wayne, IN, and Ralph (Joyce) Wiley of Corinth, TX; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Wierzbinski of North Olmstead, OH; nine grandchildren, Michael Wierzbinski, Mary Lynn Wierzbinski, Kevin Wierzbinski, Christine Wierzbinski, Sherry Hall, Stephen Wiley, Dana Linner, Mark Wiley and Lisa Hoft; 11 great-grandchildren; and by three sisters, Stephanie Kuzmicz of South Bend, Mary Wilson of South Bend and Phyllis Bognar of South Bend. Louise was a parishioner of St. Hedwig's Catholic Church for 75 years. She was also a member of the Rosary Society and Golden Cluster. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2009, in St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow with burial at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anne Home and Retirement Community, 1900 Randallia Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. For those who are unable to attend the funeral liturgy, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
