June 18, 1930 - Feb. 21, 2013 SOUTH BEND - John Niedosik, age 82, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on February 21, 2013, after a lengthy illness. John was born June 18, 1930 in South Bend, IN and married Irene Nagy on November 4, 1950. He is preceded in death by his wife Irene, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Lorene (Paquette), who he married in 2003; his 4 sons, John, Gary, Dennis, and Kenneth; 6 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Kucharski. John was the retired owner of Advance Engineering, a lifetime member of the Elks Club and the Knights of Columbus, a former member of Morris Park Country Club, and Club 15. John enjoyed restoring old cars, which included a 1922 Maxwell, 1939 Lincoln Zephyr, 1947 Studebaker, and 1972 Mercedes Convertible. He also enjoyed good times with family and good friends at Notre Dame football games. Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd. at Hickory, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, with burial at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery.
