NILES - Joseph Carl Kujawa, 66, of Niles, passed away at home in the early hours of Friday, September 22, 2017. Joe was born on November 6, 1950, to Zymonth “Zig” and Darlene (Jones) Kujawa. Joe attended Edwardsburg High School and later wed and had two daughters. He was a lifelong Cubs and Bears fan, and also enjoyed shooting pool; he even taught his daughter Carey to play. Joe was a long time gardener and spent much of his free time tending to his veggie garden. He was also a proponent of marijuana and enjoyed smoking his own and teaching people how to grow their own. He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother, Darlene Kujawa; daughters, Carey (Tim) Wickler of Niles and Nicole Kujawa of Elkhart; six grandchildren; siblings, Linda Logalbo of Niles, Steve (Linda) Kujawa of Edwardsburg, Frank (Janet) Kujawa of Cassopolis, Rita (Joe) Baumgardner of Flintville, Tennessee, and Scott Kujawa of Niles; along with many extended family members and close friends.
