Scott Lopp, 74, died suddenly of heart trouble, last week Thursday afternoon, while at work at the Nappanee Lumber and Manufacturing Company factory. He was born March 18, 1861, in Fulton county, Indiana, the son of Emsly and Harriet (Miller) Lopp. In 1903 he was married to Mary A Klotz, at Nappanee. Mr. Lopp lived at the present location 45 years.
He is survived by his widow; three daughters, Mrs Earl Geyer of Elkhart, Mrs Alfred Stump and Miss Pauline Lopp of Nappanee; two sons, Velours and Frederick of Nappanee; two children by a former marriage, Mrs C C Clay and Mrs John Yoder, both of Wakarusa, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the home at 1 o'clock Saturday. The Rev W E Snyder, pastor of the First Evangelical church, officiated. He was a member of the Evangelical church for 30 years.
