Carrie H. Glon, 88, formerly of Catalpa Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Friday, May 21, in the Holy Cross Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on March 18, 1916, in South Bend, to Stanley and Stella Piotrowski, who preceded her in death. A sister, Jan Jerzakowski, is deceased. Carrie married Casmir Glon, who passed away in 1987. Carrie is survived by daughters, Rose Ann Ullery of South Bend, Debbie (Dave) Snyder of Mishawaka, Ind., and Nancy (Bill) Vogelsang of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, Ron (Cynthia) Glon of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Justin, Amber, Breann, Heather, Brent and Roger; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Sophie Gaddey of Mishawaka; and by a brother, Pete Piotrowski of Mishawaka. She was a member of St. Adalbert Church and the Mothers of Foreign Wars. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 26, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 26, at 10 a.m. in St. Adalbert Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Cancer Society.
