SOUTH BEND - Wilma Alberta (Replogle) Goodspeed Paar, 94, passed away on January 23, 2016 at Memorial Hospital. Wilma was born on August 28, 1921 in Crumstown, IN to the late Albert and Dessie (Nyhart) Replogle. She was married to Byron Goodspeed in South Bend, IN on May 5, 1944; he preceded her in death on July 28, 1968. She later married Leo J. Paar on July 17, 1976; he also preceded her in death, on October 23, 2001. Wilma was also preceded in death by a stepson, Larry Paar; a grandson, Tommy Mitchell; her sisters, Betty East, Ruth Plew, Viola Knepper, Ethel Wenner & Ann Pearl East; and her brothers, Harold, Frank, & Harry Morris and Wilbur Replogle. She is survived by her children: Phyllis (Harold) Kabay of South Bend, IN, Mary Sue (Ronald) Albers of Loveland, CO, Nancy Lynn (Bradford) Milikin of Elkhart, IN, John (Linda) Goodspeed of South Bend, IN and Leon J. (Lois) Paar of St. Joseph, MI, 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Leila Poor of South Bend, IN and George (Betty) Replogle of Seabring, FL. Wilma retired in 1978, after seven years of service at Easy Heat. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post #360, and enjoyed doing crafts, traveling, and spent winters in Texas and Arizona. Funeral Services for Wilma A. Paar will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46614. Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in South Bend, IN.
