NILES - Donna Redzinski, 81, of Niles, passed away at Riveridge Manor in Niles on Monday, March 24, 2014. Donna was born on March 29, 1932, to the late Harold and Ella (Harmon) Gaulitz in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Donna wed Gilbert Redzinski at a ceremony in Milwaukee and together they had four children. Later in life they parted ways. After moving to Michigan Donna worked at Silverbrook Manor as a cook. When not at work Donna enjoyed passing time crocheting; her passion however was her family. Donna thoroughly enjoyed being with her family whenever possible and often stayed with her children. When grandchildren came along Donna experienced a whole new level of joy. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Nevil, and sister, Harriet Stiewe. She is survived by her children, Gilbert "Butch" (Patricia Kuharevicz) Redzinski Jr. of Sand Lake, Michigan, Thomas Redzinski of Niles, Michigan, Patricia Huttenstine of Niles and Pamela (James Pastryk) Aviles of Niles; grandchildren, Joe Blackmer of Muskegon, Michigan, Kevin (Melissa) Blackmer of Muskegon, Miranda (Mike Hewitt) Redzinski of Edmore, Michigan, Tommy Redzinski of Edmore, Colin Redzinski of Edmore, Kristin (John) Campbell of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Harley (Beka Taylor) Groves of Sturgis, Michigan, Jared Huttenstine of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brein (Tom) Dyer of Niles and Brandon (Laurie) Percy of Niles; and great-grandchildren, Jorja, Boden, Avree, Violet, Lanie, Les, Harmony, Sage, Zarrah and Teo. Donna's family will be holding funeral services on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Brown Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Donna's name may do so to the Berrien County Animal Control at 9204 Huckleberry Road, Berrien Center, MI 49102.
