Died at 1206 W Jefferson Blvd in his home at 6:20 p.m. after a two year illness. He lived in South all his life. He retired as custodian at Linden School 2 years ago. Services at St. Hedwige's Catholic Church, burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. On 2 Jul 1906 he wed Victoria Getkie who survives with 4 sons: Alex of Reno, NV.; Edmund of Dallas, TX.; Benjamin & Louis both of South Bend; 4 daughters, Mrs. Theresa Brumlow of Madison, IN., Mrs. Leona McLean of St. Louis, MO.; Mrs. Sally Metzger and Mrs. Evelyn Kovatch both of South Bend, 12 grandchildren.
