SOUTH BEND - Loretta Agnes Rogers, 78, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017, in her home. Loretta was born on February 14, 1939, in South Bend, to Frank and Mary (Sobieralski) Nalepinski, and was a lifelong resident. She retired from Thermo-Lite, where she was employed as a secretary. Loretta is survived by her two daughters, Kim (Terry) Hardman of South Bend, Indiana, and Candice Rogers of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her daughter-in-law, Margie Rogers of South Bend, Indiana; five grandchildren, Rachel (Dan) Mirkin, Tyler Rogers, Don (Kate) Hardman, Patty (Mat) Snyder and Jen (Todd) Weaver; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; her sister, Betty (Ray) Haluda of South Bend, Indiana; and one sister-in-law, Betty Johnson of North Liberty, Indiana. Loretta was preceded in death by her son, Randy Rogers; her sister, Gertrude Nalepinski; and her two brothers, Bernard and Fred Nalepinski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2017, in Holy Family Church. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. Loretta loved to dance and was a member of the Amarillo Star Dancing Club. She enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Memorial contributions may be directed to Holy Family Church or the Hospice Foundation.
