My great-grandfather was born(WLADYSLAW) on May 15,l866 in Lachowo, Prussian Poland. He arrived in the USA on March l0, 1892...Sailing from the port of Bremen..arriving at the port of Baltimore.before moving to South Bend,Ind...the ship he arrived on the SS.America. He married Franciska Grabarek in Poland...they had three children Mary-born Aug 24,l891-she married William Gruza on Sept.20,1910..she died at a earl age. A son named Vince S. Luczkowski..born May 20,1895.he married Cecelia....they had a son Ervin C. Luczkowski. Another son Steve my grandfather was born on Nov. 26,1893 hewas married twice..he married my grandmother Stella Gietkie(Gietka) in 1920 . her parents being Victor Gietkie and Stella Fisher(FISZER)...MY father Cleslaw(CHESTER)was born on March 8,1921.. also they had three step-children -Edward Luczkowski-Dorthy Mezykowski-and a son called Cuppie.My grandfather Steve died in Chicago on March 17,1942..he was going by the name of Steve Luke. My great-grandfather also had a brother..his name was Maciej(Matthias or Matthew) born Dec.25,1863..in Lachowo, Prussian Poland.arriv-ed in the US on March 10, 1892...left Bremen arrived at Baltimore-went to South Bend. married Stanislawa Kapalczynski...and had the following children...Joseph-Stanley-Vern.Parents for both WILLIAM and Matthew listed as Joseph Luczkowwski and Trancka Pwlawaka from Poland.Hope this fills in more Luczkowski family tree..Stanislaw Luczkowski must be a cousin...as I mentioned i have his WW1 Draft registration card..any chance of getting a print of his photo..my printer is down..much thanks...
