South Bend Margaret M. Bartkowiak, 88, passed away at 2:59 am Friday, January 25, 2013 in Memorial Hospital. Margaret was born May 31, 1924 in South Bend to the late George and Mary (Kajzer) Wroblewski. Margaret is also preceded in death by her brother who passed away at an early age. On December 5, 1953 in South Bend Margaret married Gerald "Jerry" Bartkowiak, her loving spouse of 59 years, he survives, along with their daughters, Kathy and Karen Bartkowiak . Margaret was employed for many years with Sears and Roebuck; she was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, and the ZB Falcons Club. Margaret was also an avid bingo player. Visitation for Margaret will be from 2:00pm to 6:00pm Monday, January 28, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Holy Family Catholic Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
