Mrs. Gladys Dalka of 2417 Frederickson, died Monday at 1 p.m. in the afternoon in her home after a lingering illness. The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m.at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with burial at St. Joseph Polish Cemetery. Gladys was born in South Bend 4-16-1903 and lived here her entire life. On 5-8-1922 as Gladys Szczechowski she married Anthony Dalka who survives along with her parents Mr. & Mrs. Ignac Szczechowski of South Bend, 2 daughters; Mrs. Eileen Buczkowski of South Bend and Mrs. Marvine Schieblhoser of of Somis, CA.; one sister, Mrs. Edwina Kolupa and a brother, Sylvester Szczechowski, both of South Bend, and 5 grandchildren.
