SOUTH BEND - Walter T. Jachimiak, 79, died Saturday. Survivors include wife, Maxine (Miller); daughters, Julie (Bryan) Cooper & Lisa (Daniel) Boyd; grandchildren, Corey & Kimberly Boyd; and brothers, Ted (Dorothy), Edward (Pat), Eugene (Marie) and Raymond Jachimiak. Walter honorably served in the United States Army. Visitation is 4-8 pm Tuesday in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 7. Funeral will be 10 am Wednesday in the funeral home. Published in South Bend Tribune on December 11, 2011
