Stephen Idukovich, age 83, of Griffith, passed away February 29, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mildred; two daughters: Diane Idukovich and Nancy (Scott) Keeler; two grandchildren: Brett and Erica Keeler; mother, Danica Idukovich; sister, Helen (late Mike) Voynovich; nephews: Steve, David, and Danny Voynovich. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. directly at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Schererville with the V. Rev. Dobrivoje Milunovic officiating. At rest Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to visit with Stephen's family on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Pomen Prayer Service Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at the Lincoln-Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 W. Lincoln Highway, Schererville, IN (Rt. 30 east of Cline Ave.). Stephen was a 1952 graduate of Purdue University and a member of The John Purdue Club. He was a retired superintendent with LTV Steel Co., veteran of the U.S. Army, member of Griffith American Legion, member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, and Calumet A.C. Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana, 922 E. Colfax Ave., South Bend, IN 46617.
