SOUTH BEND - Juanita M. Klota, 76, passed away at 10:55 pm on Saturday, June 5 in West Woods of Niles Nursing Home. Juanita was born on October 5, 1933 in South Bend to the late Valerian and Helen (Kiefer) Stedman. On August 24, 1957 Juanita married Valentine J. Klota in Niles, MI; he preceded her in death on June 6, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her son, Valentine J. Klota, Jr.; brother, Valerian Stedman; and by her sister, Lorene Stedman. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Miller of Niles, MI; and by her niece, Violet (Mike) Greenfield of Niles, MI. Juanita was a parishioner of St. Casimir Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Casimir Senior Citizens Club and the Alter & Rosary Society of St. Casimir Catholic Church. She was also a member of the West Side Democratic Club. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm on Wednesday, June 9 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4 pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 9 am on Thursday, June 10 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1308 W. Dunham St., South Bend, IN 46619 or to the Center for the Homeless, 813 E. Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46601.
