Marion, 86, of Lansing, Michigan, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 20, 2017. He was born to Joseph Peter and Florence Ann (Dabros) Jerzak. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Donald and Richard Jerzak; sister, Esther Booth; and his wife of 58 ½ years, Alice. He is survived by 3 daughters, Catherine (Daniel) Demlow, Diane Nussbaum, and Laurie (Harley) Eskew; son, Michael Jerzak; 3 grandchildren, Sara (Kenneth) Melder, Gregory Nussbaum, and Michelle (Anthony) Beck; 2 great-grandchildren, Aubrey Melder and Owen Melder; brother, William Jerzak; and sister, Beverly Sieczko. Mike served in the Navy during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of VFW Post #701. He retired from Fisher Body after 30 years of service. He enjoyed bowling and fishing, but he most enjoyed spending time with his family - especially his grandchildren. Funeral Mass was Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein officiating. A Rosary service was held. Interment was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to The American Cancer Society. The family is being served by Tiffany Funeral Home.
