Obituary Condolences
WALTER RUDZINSKI Valparaiso, Indiana Age 80 of Valparaiso, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Porter Hospital. He was born on July 19, 1925 in Gary, the son of Anastazy and Mary (Giertych) Rudzinski. He was a salesman for Standard Tobacco for 30 years, a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Church in Merrillville. He was a United States Marine Veteran, a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus #1696 in Whiting, an assistant scout leader and a neighborhood commissioner of scouting. On April 22,, 1946 in Whiting, he married Gloria Misichko, who survives in Valparaiso. Also surviving are two sons, Dr. Walter (Patrice) Rudzinski of Valparaiso and Dr. Dan (Donna) Rudzinski of South Bend, a daughter, Laura (Steve) St. Clair of Granger and six grandchildren, Matthew, Katie, Danny, John, Michael and Gloria; five brothers, Julius (Christine) Rudzinski, George (Donna) Rudzinski, Zymund Rudzinski, Harry Rudzinski and Edmund Rudzinski and a sister, Edna Early also survive him. His parents, 2 sons, Bruce and William, a brother, Hank and a sister, Nettie Inderski preceded him in death. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Byzantine Church, 557 W. 57th Avenue, Merrillville, IN 46410. Father Michael Evanick officiating.
