SOUTH BEND - Georgina A. Morse, 61, of South Bend, passed away in her son's residence on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, with her caring family at her bedside. Georgina was born on March 30, 1947, in South Bend, to Alexander and Sara (Faulkner) Lisenko. Georgina is survived by four children, James (Rhonda) Hanchar of Granger, IN, Debra (Dan) Floyd of Boynton Beach, FL, David (Gail) Hanchar of South Bend, IN, and Michael Morse of South Bend, IN. Georgina was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren, Christopher (Angela) Kimes of Big Rapids, MI, James Kimes of Elkhart, IN, Miranda Hanchar of Granger, IN, Brittney, Robert Floyd of Boynton Beach, FL, Alexander, Kenneth Hanchar of South Bend, IN, and Stephanie (Chris) Ledoux of South Bend, IN. Her grandson, Christopher, is serving in the military and has been deployed to Iraq. Georgina is also a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, McKenzie Kimes, Ian, Camerine, Gavin Ledoux, Jimmy, Kayla Kimes. Also surviving Georgina are her mother, Sara Lisenko; along with two sisters, Cindy (Dan) Gamble of South Bend, IN, and Marie (Joseph) Gregor of Kansas; and two brothers, Roger (Marlyn) Lisenko of Mishawaka, IN, and Jerry Lisenko of Mishawaka. Her father, Alexander, who died in 1989, a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Hanchar, and a brother, Phillip Lisenko, preceded Georgina in death. Georgina retired after 21 years of service as a security officer from the campus of the University of Notre Dame. She loved and cherished her family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service held at noon Monday, Nov. 10, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN, with one hour visitation prior to the service. Rev. Ed Erskin will be officiating. The family requested, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the following organizations: American Cancer Society, c/o Relay for Life, 601 W.
