SOUTH BEND - Sandra K. Horvath, 68, passed away at 4:20 pm Saturday, May 18, 2013, in her residence. Sandy was born on June 4, 1944, in South Bend, to Donald and Lorraine (Swartz) Swain. She was employed by Qualex, various places at Scottsdale Mall and Kmart. On November 28, 1964, in Christ the King Church, she married Wiley F. Horvath Sr., who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Lorraine Swain of Modesto, CA; three daughters, Kimberly (Kenneth) Luczkowski of Goshen, Kristin (Brian) Gall of South Bend and Mindi (Keyon) Vinegar of Aurora, CO; 2 sons, Wiley F. Horvath Jr. of Niles and Donald Horvath of South Bend; 9 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Sawaya of Colorado Springs, CO, and a brother Ken (Judy) Swain of Las Vegas, NV. Per Sandy's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no services or visitation. The Horvath family would like to extend thanks to Hospice and nurse Christina for the care and compassion.Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue, has been entrusted with arrangements.
