Lorena L. Rajski, 85, of Elmer Avenue, South Bend, passed away at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana on Thursday, March 25th, 2021 following an illness. She was born in South Bend on November 2nd, 1935 to LeRoy and Freda Dowd who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Charmaine Bare and a sister, Shirley Dowd. She married the love of her life, Chester Rajski who also preceded her in death. Surviving her are her children, Delorena Evans of South Bend and John (Lynda) Tompkins of South Bend. Her grandchildren, Billy (Kat) Cook, Mandy (Zak) Klug, Christopher ( Monica) Cook and Colton ( Kristen) Tompkins and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are several stepchildren, step grand and great grandchildren. Lorena loved her husband dearly. She loved flowering, Gambling, traveling and Frogs. She was a friend to everyone she met. She considered herself to be “Juror 13”. There will be a service for Lorena at Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum on Monday, March 29th, 2021 at 1:00pm. St Joseph Funeral Home, South Bend is assisting with the arrangements. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Center for Hospice.
