NORTH LIBERTY - Josephine M. Golubski, 94, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Josephine was born April 3, 1924 in South Bend to Ignatius and Martha (Walkowiak) Kandzierski. On June 12, 1948, she married the love of her life, Jerome Golubski, and the city girl became a farmer's wife. Their union was blessed with four daughters, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Josephine's most important role was being a wife and mother, and raising her children in the way of the faith. She was known for her baking, although she never ate a bite of what she baked. She was a member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish where she belonged to the Altar and Rosary Solidity. She was also a member of the Crumstown Conservation Club. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome, their daughter, Annette, her brothers, Stanley, Bert, and John Kandzierski, and a sister, Theresa Goralski. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Golubski, Barbara (David) Kaminskas, and Ann (Warren) Ganser. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Kaminskas, Melissa Kaminskas, Rachel (Sam) Proctor, Danielle Kaminskas (David Martinez), Mary (Francis) McDonald, Olivia Ganser, and Alex Ganser; great-grandchildren, Hunter Kaminskas, Mary Grace Kaminskas, Flora Josephine McDonald, and Baby Girl Proctor; a sister, Phyllis Skwarcan; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Sunday, June 24, 2018 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Rosary will be prayed at 4:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am, Monday, June 25, 2018 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
