Aug. 21, 1946 - May 11, 2015
GRANGER - Beverly F. Beisel, 68, residing in Granger, passed away at 1:45 am Monday, May 11, 2015, in her home. She was born August 21, 1946, in South Bend, to the late August and Theresa (Wojtysiak) Karacson, and remained a lifelong area resident. On April 24, 1965, in South Bend, Beverly married her high school sweetheart, H. Neil Beisel, who survives. She is also survived by sons, H. Neil (Brandi) Beisel III of Wichita, KS, Christopher L. Beisel of Overland Park, KS, and Andrew Q. (Michelle) Beisel of Osceola; and grandchildren, H. Neil Beisel IV, Alexia Beisel and Lauren Loften. Starting as a little girl, Beverly worked at the Farmers Market selling flowers and vegetables with her parents. She then worked for several banks, Man Power temporary service agency, and finally, the Bob Erath Company. After taking time off to raise her family, she went back to the Farmers Market, where she sold wild bird supplies with her husband until she became ill. Beverly would like to thank all of the Farmers Market vendors and customers, many of whom she knew her entire lifetime, for their care and support of her. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family, baking pies and gardening. She loved all outside activities. She also enjoyed making and giving cards for various occasions. The Beisel family would like to thank Dr. Michael Rodriguez, Sheila Fleming and the chemotherapy nurses at Michiana Hematology Oncology for their great care. Many thanks also to Dr. Kathleen Delnay and the staff at Urology Associates of South Bend, as well as Michele and the entire staff at the Center for Hospice Care. There will be no public visitation or services. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Beverly may be donated to Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545; South Bend - Elkhart Audubon Society, PO Box 581, Mishawaka, IN 46546; or Izaak Walton League, 20400 Darden Road, South Bend, IN 46637.
