March 9, 1910 - July 11, 1993 SOUTH BEND - Josephine Varga, 83 of Sylvan Lane, died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday in Carlyle Health Care Center. Mrs. Varga was a former employee of Enro Corp., retiring in 1973. She was born March 9, 1910, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident of the area. Surviving are a daughter, Jeanne Schoonaert of South Bend; a son, Don of Mishawaka; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Klimek of South Bend; and a brother, Edmund Nowicki of South Bend. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Holy Family Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
