Florence C. Brzezinski, 75, of Hamlin Court, South Bend IN, died at 10:20pm on Thursday, February 25, in St Josephs Regional Medical Center.
She was born on December 3, 1923, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Brzezinski was a member of the Harvest House and the Rosary Society, both of St Adalbert Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Hoosier Grandmothers Club. She was married on May 25, 1946, as Florence C. Adamski, to Anthony Brzezinski, who died on December 1, 1982. Mrs. Brzezinski was also preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Adamski. Florence is survived by two daughter, Janet (Ronald) Buda and Judith (Richard) Rajter, both of South Bend; a son, Tom (Katherine) Brzezinski of South Bend; nine grandchildren, Brian, Brett and Brigette Buda, Leah and Eric Rajter, and Sarah, Michael, Karen and John Brzezinski, all of South Bend; four sisters, Dorothy Demeter and Theresa Sniadecki, both of South Bend, Emilie Miller of Columbus OH and Annette Fujawa of Terre Haute; and by her close friend, Stan Derda of South Bend. Family and friends may call form 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Sunday in the St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 A Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 3:30pm. Services will be at 10am on Monday in St Adalbert Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the St Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St Adalbert Church Building Fund, 2420 W.
