Mrs. Veronica B. Bartkowiak
Mrs. Veronica Banicki Bartkowia, 810 S. Camden Street., died at 2:30 p.m. today in St. Joseph's
Hospital after an eight weeks' illness. She was born in South Bend Dec. 9, 1897. Surviving are her
husband, Felix; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Michael of South Bend; two sons, Theodore Banicki of South
Bend, and SFC Ernest E. Banicki, stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany; seven grandchildren;
three sisters, Mrs. Jane Bucholtz, Mrs. Marian Orzechowski and Mrs. Martha Queen, and a brother, Ted
Kazmierczak, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.
