MISHAWAKA - Donna Mae Buwa, 65, passed away on Wednesday, September 21 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. Donna was born on May 8, 1951 in South Bend to Charles and Naomi (Ewing) Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Doug Baker in 1985 and a daughter, Tabitha Buwa Stafford in March 2016. On May 26, 1979 in Mishawaka she married Joseph Buwa, he preceded her in death in January 2013. Surviving are daughters, Tammy (Durell) King and Dawn Buwa both of Elkhart; a son, Chris (Shondra) Senff of Three Rivers, MI; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Lola (Mike) Mcintyre of Elkhart; brothers, Ron (Helen) Baker and Bob Baker both of Mishawaka. Donna worked for 23 years for Nyloncraft in Mishawaka. Visitation will be on Monday, September 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Burial will follow in Crumstown Cemetery, North Liberty.Contributions can be made to the funeral home to help the family offset the funeral expenses.
