SOUTH BEND - Carmella Theresa Tirotta Moser, 95, passed away at 7:18 a.m. Sunday, March 2, 2008, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Theresa was born on March 21, 1912, in Siderno Marina, Italy, to Dominic and Maria (Parisi) Macri. She was employed by the University of Notre Dame, and loved to cook, garden, play bingo and watch cowboy movies. As Carmella Theresa Macri she married Christy R. Tirotta, who preceded her in death along with her second husband, Robert Moser, a son, Christy R. Tirotta Jr., a brother, Frank Macri, and a sister, Ann Smith. Survivors include five daughters, Rosemary (Emery) Arndt, Betty Smith, Tina (Chuck) Lankford and Julie Orisich, all of South Bend, and Teresa (Jack) Parisey of Mishawaka; two sons, Albert (Barbara) Tirotta of Granger and Frank F. Tirotta of South Bend; 53 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren and 68 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph (Jean) Macri of Tulsa, OK. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 today, Wednesday, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, in the funeral home.
