Leo J. (Malo) Alessandri, 63. of 303
Pin Oak Manor, died at 10:25 a.m.
Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, South
Bend, where he had been a patient
for 11 days. Alessandri had been ill
since January. He was born on July
5, 1914, in Logansport, Indiana and had
lived in Mishawaka for most of his
life. He was employed in the Penn
Twp. assessor's office. A 1941 graduate
of Southern Mississippi University
in Hattiesburg. Alessandrl was a
veteran of World War II and the
Korean War. He was a member of the
DeAmicis Club. A bachelor, Alessandri is
survived by three sisters: Mrs.
Marie Przygocki, Mrs. Frank (Rose)
Ermeti and Mrs. Josephine Paluzzi,
all of Mishawaka; and several nieces
and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday
in the Bubb Funeral Chapel,
where friends may call from 2 to 4
p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Rev.
James E. Hayes, retired. of St. Monica's
Catholic Church. will officiate.
Burial wiII be in Fairview Cemetery.
