Heyde, eighty-two years old, one of the well known residents of this community, died at 10:28 o'clock Wednesday morning, February 28, at Community hospital [sic], where he had been a patient since January 3. Mr. Heyde, a retired farmer who had resided in this community all his life, was a son of George and Mary (Engle) Heyde and was born near Bremen May 7, 1879. October 1, 1902, he was married to E. Elnore BonDurant, who survives with one son, Richard of Syracuse. He leave [sic] also one grandson, Noble Heyde of R.R. 3, Bremen; five great grandchildren; one brother, Grover Heyde of Boca Raton, Florida; and two sisters, Mrs. Welcome Miller of Plymouth and Mrs. Victor Roeder of Bremen. Friends may call at the Glant Funeral Chapel until Saturday noon. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Salem Evangelical church where Mr. Heyde was a member. Rev. F. G. Kuebler, pastor of the church, will officiate in the service and burial in Bremen cemetery.
