Kenneth J. “KJ” “Kenny” Zielinski, 47, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in his home. Kenny was born on December 22, 1975 in South Bend, Indiana to Tom and Fran Zielinski. He had been employed in Sales, Accounting, and was currently a Manager at St. Clair’s Butcher Shoppe. Kenny is survived by his mother, Fran Zielinski of South Bend, Indiana; his brother, Michael Zielinski and his wife, Natasha Getway of Denver, North Carolina; and his nephew, Will Zielinski. Kenny was preceded in death by his father Tom Zielinski. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2023 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Kenny was a 1994 graduate of Washington High School. He was a member of St. Casimir Married Men’s Club. He was a huge Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame Fan. Kenny had played softball as a pitcher locally for over 20 years. Kenny loved spending time with his family and friends. There isn’t anything that Kenny wouldn’t do for them. He greeted everyone with a huge smile and a hug.
