John Balcerzak age 41, of 2502 West Poland street died in his home Thursday afternoon at 2:50 pmfollowing an illness of two years. Born in Poland May 17,1892 he came to South Bend from that country 21 years ago 1913. He is survive by his widow and eight children Mrs Mary Niespodziany, Mrs Sophie Charzan, Alice, Clemintine, Dorothy, Rita , Stanley, John and a sister Mary Metroska in Poland. The body may be viewed in his residence. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 a.m. with the Rev John Osadnik singing the mass at St Adalberts in South Bend. Burial will take place at St Josephs Polish Cemetery.
