Agnes immigrated to the United States and settled in the Detroit area until her marriage to Frank Lange in 1888. She and Frank lived in Arcadia Township (Lapeer County) raising their children, Susan, Alma, Henry, Catherine, Bernard, Lawrence, Herman and John, along with her step-children, Louise, Frank, Mary Ann, Elizabeth and Clementine.

Yes, that is the correct Agnes. She is the second wife of Frank Lange. His first wife died leaving 5 young children. The family story is that Frank went to a priest in Detroit and said he needed a wife to care for his children. The priest knew just the woman...Agnes. However, I cannot find a civil record of their marriage nor a church record. 1900 census states 1889 marriage date. I checked at three churches where the family frequented....St. Joseph, St. Clement and Old St. Mary.
I've attached the ship record. Their names are on the lower part of the upper half of the sheet. The only other info I have on Agnes is that on Frank Lange's petition for citizenship , Agnes place of origin is listed as Hrnzstroup, Germany. I am not able to find this location on the map.
