Jenny Splawski, 64, of South Bend, IN passed away at 1:30PM Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in her home. She was born on July 21, 1944 in Bloomington, IL to the late Donald and Emily (Van Huss) Plummer and was a lifelong resident of South Bend. On October 11, 1962 in South Bend, IN she married David A. Splawski, who survives. Along with her husband, David A. Splawski, Jenny is survived by two daughters, Susan (Mark) Jones of Mishawaka and Sheri (Philip) Wardlow of South Bend; her son David A. (Jane) Splawski, Jr. of South Bend; 10 grandchildren, Heather, Coty, Kenny, Kristen, Lisa, Chris, Adrianna, Paige, Christopher and Samantha; 5 great grandchildren, Cameron, Chelsea, David, Madison and Cameron; three sisters, Zora Lee (Dan) Hall of South Bend, Donna (Rob) Heilig of Cassopolis and Mary (Ken) Schultz of Dowagiac; sister-in-law, Debbie Plummer of Dowagiac and a brother, Danny (Jackie) Plummer of Mishawaka and her aunt and uncle, Lil and Dan Van Huss. One brother, Jeffery Plummer preceded her in death. Jenny loved to play Bingo and Poker. She also loved her Chihuahua, "Peanut" and riding her scooter. Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM Monday in Palmer Funeral Home - River Park, 2528 Mishawka Ave, South Bend. Pastor David Honeycutt will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00AM until time of services Monday in the funeral home.
