GRANGER, IN - Jon R. Hoffer, 64, of Granger, passed away on January 4, 2021 in his home unexpectedly. Jon was born on August 27, 1956 in Mishawaka to Leonard E. Hoffer of Mishawka and Barbara F. (Potts) Brodzinski of Edwardsburg, MI. Jon is survived by his parents, daughter, Brenda M. (Jeremy) Carter of Chicago, son, Randy J. Hoffer of Osceola, six loving grandchildren, sister, Patty Hoffer of Chattanooga, TN and his brother, Mark (Pam) Hoffer of Elkhart, IN. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Hoffer. He was employed for 38 years as a mechanic for Hull Lift Truck. Jon loved working on all cars, NASCAR, farming, John Deere tractors, and he was especially proud of building his own log cabin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hoffer family to help with funeral expenses: Randy J. Hoffer, 10089 Charles Street, Osceola, IN 46561. A memorial will take place at a later date, cremation has taken place.
