MISHAWAKA - Geraldine M. "Gerrie" Rogalski, 77, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 18, 2015, in her home. She was born on May 20, 1938, in Chicago, IL, to the late Stanley and Irene (Siwek) Stalmack. On October 12, 1957 she married Thaddeus "Ted" Rogalski, who preceded her in death on April 14, 2003. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bruno Rogalski and a great- grandchild, Bennett. Gerrie is survived by her daughters, Linda (Frank) Leblang of Mishawaka and Therese Ruszkowski of South Bend; her sons, Paul (Regina) Rogalski of Western Springs, IL and Bernard (Lori) Rogalski of Lisle, IL; 12 grandchildren, Scott (Christina) Leblang, Angela (Joseph) Wisniewski, Matthew (fiance' Sarah) Leblang, Tim (Sarah) Ruszkowski, Paul Jr., Alex and Rebecca Rogalski and Elizabeth (Tim) Larsen, Zachary, Paige, Cameron and Mia Rogalski; four great-grandchildren, Danica, Evan, Hailey and Clark and one expected in May 2016; three brothers, Jerome (Judy) Stalmack of Mountain Home, AR, Stanley "Mickey" (Sharon) Stalmack of Alsip, IL and John (Joyce) Stalmack of Chicago, IL; and by two sisters-in-law, Gail Rogalski of Huntley, IL and Alice Ryan of Bartlett, IL. Mrs. Rogalski was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. She was a graduate from Holy Family Academy in Chicago in 1956. She had a very strong faith and devotion to the blessed Mother and her family was the most important thing in her life, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loving aunt and "Nana" to many. She will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the church. Kaniewski Funeral Homes, South Bend, is handling the arrangements.
