SOUTH BEND, IN - Pamela Sue Lapkiewicz, 69, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born on May 7, 1951 in South Bend, Indiana to Sylvester and Dorothy (Jaworski) Durski. Her mother Dorothy preceded her in death. On May 30, 1970 in South Bend she married John P. Lapkiewicz who survives. Pamela is also survived by her father Sylvester, one daughter, Paula S. (Dan) Rajski of South Bend, Indiana, one son, Jonathan (Staci) Lapkiewicz of South Bend, Indiana; six grandchildren, Steven, Samantha, Ryan, Dathan, Daniel and Caroline; and three brothers, Scott, Robert, and Bradley Durski. Pam enjoyed working puzzles, warm weather vacations, being with family but most of all she loved being Nana. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, IN. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 7, 2021 with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
