Okonski, 92, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in The Toledo Hospital. She was born September 27, 1919, in Toledo, Ohio. Dorothy was a member of the Maumee American Legion Post # 320, Maumee Eagles Auxiliary and a charter member of the Maumee Eagles R.E.A.C. She was an avid sports fan
including the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kay (Robert) Fisher and Dan (Debbie) Holdren; four
grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and seven step-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, John Holdren and Daniel Okonski.
The family will receive guests Friday, September 7, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. The family will also receive guests Saturday, September 8, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio 43460. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
