Charles E. Hahaj, 60, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007, in his home. Charles was born on July 3, 1947 in South Bend, IN, to John and Ruth (Iseman) Hahaj. He had been employed as a mould maker, electrical sign installer, and security officer. Survivors include his former wife, Susan A. Hahaj; two daughters, Cecelia (Brian) Englehart and Crystal (Sean) Gleason both of Niles, MI; his son, Nicholas (Christine) Hahaj of Niles, MI; six grandchildren, Joseph Blair, Gabrielle Blair, Joshua Englehart, Clarissa Gleason, Mathew Gleason, and Cody Gleason; his father, John Hahaj of South Bend, IN; one sister, Diana McKeown of South Bend, IN, and by two brothers, John (Susan) Hahaj, Jr. of Granger, IN and Alan Hahaj of South Bend, IN. Charles was preceded by his mother Ruth Hahaj on December 25, 2005. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery. Charles was a Viet Nam Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker, horseshoes, and cookouts with family.
