KNOX - Edward C. Zehner, 85 years old of Knox, IN, died Monday, January 25, 2016, in Knox, Indiana.
He was born Sunday, November 16, 1930, in Monterey, Indiana, son of the late William Zehner and the late Loretta (Langenbahn) Zehner. Edward was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Edward loved to fish and spend time with his family and grandchildren. He worked as a Supervisor for Bendix. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn (Keller) Zehner of Knox, IN; son, Edward (Judy) John Zehner of Alma, MI; son, Michael (Yvette) Gregg Zehner of San Diego, CA; daughters, Dawn (Edward) Mackowicz of Walkerton, IN, and Denise (Butch) Nappier; brother, Bill Zehner of Monterey, IN; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Loretta Zehner, and brother, Raymond Zehner. Friends will be received 4-8 PM Thursday, January 28, 2016, at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana. Rosary will be Thursday at 4:30 pm. Services will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Friday, January 29, 2016, at 11 AM, with Father Rick Holy officiating. Interment will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery.
